My name is Jan Saminski (b. 2004 in Kraków, Poland) currently based in Providence, RI where I am pursuing a BFA in Furniture design from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with a concentration in drawing.
I am interested in the overlap between functionality and play. Through my work, I seek to introduce an authentic whimsy into everyday, beautiful design. As a result, my subject matter and medium choices widely vary.
